Aidan had been reading when he heard the knocking. He was about to dismiss it at first but it was very quickly followed by shouting from Rachel. The last thing he wanted to do was give his roommates a reason to be upset at him, or to mock him, so he hurried to open the door.

"You also shout. What's the point of knocking if you're just going to shout?"
