Rachel moved around to the door and stood outside, shoes in one hand and the other on her hip. Now that she knew he was awake, her voice dropped back down to a normal volume. "Knocking is polite and I wasn't sure you were awake so I might have shouted a little louder than I should have." She paused. "I'm sorry about that."
