Aidan smiled and leaned in to kiss her, hoping that was enough to quell her fears at least temporarily. Besides, she always seemed to be more comfortable with actions than with words so this way he didn't risk saying anything that would freak her out.

"You don't have to sleep on the couch," he reassured her, grinning as he gave her another small kiss.
