starchilde_lost[The camera opens with an inquisitive cat nose and a paw reaching out to bat at the device. The aspiring filmmaker-cat walks off to reveal Rachel sitting on the floor of a living room that's familiar to anyone who was friends with Anita or Reeve. It's fairly obvious she's been crying. Smudge is just watching her, Mercy is playing somewhat listlessly with a ball of paper Rachel's moving around telekenetically, and the camera cat, Keffie, sniffs at Rachel a few times before jumping up on her lap.]
Oh, wow - Hi, Keffie - so I'm the okay one, now is that it?
[Rachel absently begins to scratch Keffie's ears.]
...What the hell was Anita thinking, you guys?
[Picking up the now purring feline, Rachel gets up and walks off-camera. You can hear her in the kitchen getting a soda. Mercy bats the paper over by the recording device and when Rachel returns, Keffie at her heels, she stoops to pick up the paper and sees the recording light.]
Seriously, again?!
[The camera cuts off and we switch to audio. She's still upset so she's forgotten all about filters today]
Okay, since I'm broadcasting anyway - Anita left some stuff for some people. If you were one of them you can come get it whenever. Just call me and I'll have it ready.
Julian - if you're still interested let's meet sometime this week. Bring a box of paperclips. No, I'm not joking.
Logan - Anita she... she left me an' Kitty her cats... and then the apartment since we were looking I guess, so I think I will be moving out in the next few days after all. I don't know what the hell she was thinking. But... besides that - have you seen Laura? I wanted to talk to her about it, about me moving out, but I didn't see her at the cabin this morning and she was supposed to call Kitty after the deal thing and hasn't and... we're getting worried.
Has ANYONE seen Laura since yesterday?
