Nobody's there forever. Life just... doesn't work like that. No matter how much they want to be, or how hard you try to hold on, everything ends. People leave even if they don't want to. Things happen. People die.
There's nothing you can do about it. You just - deal with it. Or you don't, and it hurts forever.
