Valentine's day had almost been a disaster. And since then, Rachel had been trying to come up with some plan to make things up to Aidan. He didn't expect it and she knew he wasn't harboring any deep-seated resentments about it, but she just wanted to do something nice for him. Because she was his girlfriend and could. So she figured a nice candle-lit dinner for just the two of them would be a nice way to start.

It was when she found the outfit backstage at the club that things started to get interesting.

With devious glee she put an invitation that would lead him on a scavenger hunt to a variety of locations. In the boutique, she left him a suit that he could wear, at the Hub was waiting a bottle of wine, at the waterfall was a basket of desserts (with all of his favorites) and as he made his way to her hut, she sprinkled the path with some flowers.

Inside the hut, Rachel waited patiently, her small home lit entirely by candlelight and some jazz playing on her iPod. Dinner was on the table and if she'd timed it perfectly, it wouldn't be cold in the least when he followed her last instruction. Come inside and claim your prize.

He knew every inch of her, inside and out by now and he was deliberately teasing her. Moaning, she arched her back, stretching her body towards him as much as she could. She loved and hated him for it and she reached for him with a shaking hand, running her fingers through his hair before tightening her fingers. "Don't tease, me, baby, please."

She wanted him, she wanted him to make her soar, make her scream, make her call out his name.

The instead she pleaded, gripping his hair tightly, he rubbed that spot inside of her with his fingers. He didn't mind delaying the gratification, teasing to the point of almost cruelty, but tonight wasn't like that. Tonight was about being good for and to each other.

Aidan intended to be very, very good to her.

She gasped, a little surprised that he gave in so easily but she wasn't complaining. Her breathing got heavier and her body twitched in anticipation as she thanked him with each gasp and groan that bubbled up from inside her. And when she couldn't take it anymore, she leaped over the edge, shuddering and crying his name as she came.

He smiled and worked her through her orgasm, glad to give her that release, especially after everything that she'd done for him tonight. He would make sure to tell her later how much he appreciated it, appreciated her, but he thought this was a pretty good way to do so too.

He never left her. That was one of the many things she loved about him and as she came down, the hand in his hair became a caress. A silent thanks and the three words she wasn't quite ready to say to him. She'd get there eventually. Something would kick her ass into gear, but for now it was something she held onto like a child's blanket. Her security.

"You... damn. You are the worst influence on me."

"Is that a complaint?" he asked, chuckling as he kissed back up her body to pull her close to him. He liked her here, like that, right next to him.

It felt like she fit there, or he fit against her. Either way it was nice, a reminder of how much he liked being with her, how good she made him feel and, hopefully, how good he made her feel.

"Yes. It is a very good thing." She snuggled up against him, feeling warm and safe and happy, which was as dangerous as anything she'd ever done. It scared her, what she felt, the way she let down her walls.

"You're staying tonight, right?"

Pressed up against her, Aidan had a feeling of being right where he wanted to be and right where he belonged. Part of him wanted to ask if he could just stay with her every night, but he knew how easily Rachel could... react to sudden suggestions like that. Sometimes it felt like their entire relationship was Aidan hesitating to move things along.

"You know I always want to say," he said, kissing her shoulder.

All that aside, Aidan was happy. Very happy. Whether he wanted to move things along or not, he was very happy with Rachel right here, right now.
