Niko, I'm sorry, but until someone comes up with something I can't leave her alone so...I guess this is my resignation. Thank you for the leave.

We're fine right now, she's not in any pain yet, I don't seem to have any symptoms, but I'll let you know if/when that changes. People are still figuring things out so maybe this is temporary maybe it isn't, I don't know, but we can't take any chances right now.

[Rachel walked out to the back where she'd set up the incinerator. She'd have to remember to come out first thing to burn the trash when, you know, fire was working again.

She went back inside, made some tea and took it to Kitty's room, setting it on her bedside table.]

They'll be doctors on this by tomorrow, I'll talk to them. We'll get it taken care of Kitty, I swear.

[Rachel didn't know what to do, she wasn't Moira or Hank and able to offer a scientific rationale, or Kurt or Ororo or Logan and able to cheer Kitty up. She just didn't know what else to say to comfort her friend.
