Rachel was irritated. She knew it was for the most ridiculous reason, but knowing didn't change it as she left the Catscratch. It was late she guessed, but the club hadn't closed yet so she figured it wasn't too late to go see the guy she was irritated with. She chuckled as Aidan kissed her again, running a finger down his chest as she twisted away a little, pulling the blanket out from under her so she could help Aidan clean a little. She figured they could just toss it in a corner and worry about it later, since it seems Aidan wasn't through with her yet.

It caught on a corner of the bed, by the pillows and she turned her back on Aidan, just for a moment as she pulled it loose.

Aidan sat up and wrapped his arms around her when turned her back to him, holding her against him. He could give her all the reassurances in the world because honestly, he was just as unsure about this as she was and it helped if he made himself support her. Aidan always felt he was at his best when he was helping others and ignoring his own problems. Maybe not the healthiest thing and a bit needy, but it seemed to work.

"This is the right choice."

"I know." And she did, when she listened to her heart and didn't let her head and all the cobwebs in there screw things up. It was easy to melt into his embrace, to lean against that strong chest and rest her head back on his shoulder. It also gave her the chance turn her face and give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Let's get some sleep," he said, pulling her back against him as he curled his body around her. They'd spent the night together before, but like everything else, this was going to be different somehow. Hopefully more relaxing and every bit as comfortable as it normally was.

Rachel fell back with him, smiling. She was a bit tired, now that the alcohol was wearing off and the passion was passing. She had no idea how she was going to feel in the morning, but she knew she was going to be waking up to the right guy to help her figure it out.

"Don't let me sleep in too much." It was a simple thing, almost overly-casual, but she didn't feel the pressure to add anything else. She figured she'd said enough for one night.
