We're fine right now, she's not in any pain yet, I don't seem to have any symptoms, but I'll let you know if/when that changes. People are still figuring things out so maybe this is temporary maybe it isn't, I don't know, but we can't take any chances right now.

[Rachel stalled getting the bandages, giving Kitty more time to keep herself under control. "It's not fair" didn't even begin to cover this situation and Rachel could feel her friend's pain and anguish.

She headed to the bathroom and passed the bandages to Kitty.]

A little woozy, I think that's from focusing hard to keep myself together though. I think I may be running a fever or something because I'm all strangely hot.

[Rachel walked out to the back where she'd set up the incinerator. She'd have to remember to come out first thing to burn the trash when, you know, fire was working again.

She went back inside, made some tea and took it to Kitty's room, setting it on her bedside table.]

They'll be doctors on this by tomorrow, I'll talk to them. We'll get it taken care of Kitty, I swear.
